This was a tribute to Stan Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo. It was published as part of The Sakai Project book, benefitting Stan and his wife Sharon during their time of need. All proceeds from the book and original art auctions went to help the Sakais with medical expenses. I've loved this character since I was a kid, and had the chance to see my name in lights up there with some of my heroes. An absolute career high.
