I’ve had this character kicking around in my head since his inception for a failed kids anthology, originally slated to spin out of Popgun. His is a story very much steeped in video games and the arcades I remember as a kid. I had originally called him “Johnny Arcade”, but found out that name was used in a kid’s show in the 90’s. Everything about this color palette made me nervous, all in an effort to try something new.
